I sold a dress to a woman and she politely returned it. I refunded her money and the return postage minus the original shipping, but she claims I owe her that. Do you really refund the initial shipping? Doesn’t that mean I’m out even more money?

The reason she is returning it is because it was “badly stained”, but upon return, I could barely even see what she was talking about (the dress was listed as used and there was normal one-time, minimal discoloring around the edge of the dress under the armpit area). However, shes said I was so nice that she sent me free MAC cosmetics, so I would feel horrible cheating her out of money if I owe this to her, but I would be losing money from my own pocket initially.
